The CDMF has been an ongoing music competition in Port Coquitlam, B.C for 56 years ever since it was founded in 1953 by Beryl Macleod, a former piano and vocal teacher.
The festival has been recurring annually with multitudes of talented students performing each year and receiving awards for their efforts.
The following delegates have been chosen to represent the CDMF Performing Arts Festival at this years Provincial Festival in Kamloops, 5 - 9 June 2011.

Congratulations to Andrew Wang!!
Andrew, representing CDMF at the 2009 National Class at the BC Provincial Festival, placed first in piano competition. He then went on to represent BC at the 2009 National Music Festival in Saskatoon. Andrew placed first in the piano competition and was also the winner of the piano grand award.
CDMF is extremely proud of Andrew's achievement and wish him continued success in his music and academic endeavours.
